New iExperiences!

Two days ago, we were showed our new iExperiences they were Mexico, Greece and Scotland. I chose Mexico with Miss Love. 

For the past few 2 days we took a look at the MIGHTY,golden eagle!(that is on the Mexico Flag) eating a snake on a cactus that was on a SUPER small island. (Story-A chief had a dream where the god said to build your capital city where you find a golden eagle eating a snake on a cactus that was on a island)

We also looked at the Aztecs and how they got defeated by the Spanish people and thats also why they speak Spanish.

After that, we started using cardboard or paper plates, cutting a shape from it and wrapping it with tin foil.(we glued the tin foil onto the plate, most of us) But before that we picked a icon that reminded you most of Mexico and i chose a horse shaped pinata.

There was a red dot next to it explaining what it was. In our iExperience books we had to sketch/draw out what we chose from the slide and explain what it was. Then could we get the plate,tin foil and some markers. 

I drew my pinata on tin foil that was wrapped on my cloud shaped plate. I'm quite proud of 

what i did. I think my horse pinata is very adorable and colourful.

After that, I was done and that is what we/I did so far in the Mexico group.

Today, was a exciting day and so I went to school.I opened the door and went inside and so from there the habitat went to the OJS auditorium and we listened to the LCs. 

When they (LC) finished we went off in our group I was doing Master-Chief. We were heading to the OJC library. I liked the library. The LCs had some groups planned it was in group 3 I think. We met in the room next to the reception. We got a number on our hand and so in our group we spilt into more groups I was with 5 other learners in the small group I was in.

After a while, we went on a small trip to Pak n Save and bought some ingredients.(Group 3 were making rice crispy snacks with marshmallows YUM!) We got some peanut butter.

When everyone, got their ingredients we headed back and sat down at a TV screen. We listened and watched the google slide. Meanwhile, the other 2 groups went to get their ingredients.

I'm pretty sure we went into a room and watched some videos of how some disasters form e.g. turnados,hurricane and earthquakes.

We did eat some where in between some where before making our crunchy,delicious SNACKS! It was time to make so first we got some materials then we got some rice crispy's in the silver bowl. Then we tested melting the melted butter and marshmallows, it ended up into a sticky situation. But the other attempts were fine. We mixed the marshmallows rice crispy's mixture together. Then we put it in a rectangle pan, we quickly flattened the mixture and put into a fridge. But before that we sprayed the pan and put a sheet on it.

It was starting to rain after the food was done we ate it.(AMAZING stuff!) while we were waiting i guess we played a game where someone shouts a number and we had to get into the group with the amount of people the person said. 

The day was coming to a end, so we went back to our learning habitats and got our bags, umbrellas and some of us. It was the end of the school day so we went back. It was raining though so I wore my raincoat and used my umbrella too.

The SUPERB!! Science Road Show! 🤔😝

The Science Road Show

Friday 30th June 2017 ()

It was soooooo EXCITING ↖(^ω^)↗ WOO!! I walking in the long line, I was too excitied I actually didn't know what would be inside I was Curious about what's inside the Multispace. It was like finding out something I never ever ever heard of or seen before. 

BUT soon, we went in after walking through OJC and across the wind tunnel (😷 it was quite windy)  Okay so then, we walked through the office hall and went in. We sat down and listened to the adults talk. They were doing a show it was called something like 'The Spectacular something ಠ_ಠ' I'm not sure, I can't remeber at all. So then after the show they talked about liquid nitrogen umm dry ice and more.

After some time of exploring i also got to finish the competitioon card thing i'm not sure at all, so then we put our cards in a red box. We got called back to do anyother show it was called Hidden Secrets still not sure (╮°-°)╮ so 2 students got picked from the red box and they got a white stick with 2 flaps on the top (Amolak and Sameeha got the prizes/they got picked out)

Some of the experiments I did were very fun for e.g. Hovercraft,The one with blue and red ping pong bats.That's some off the ones I did so after we lined back up and went back to LH6.
